Again, I was invited to help CrafTEDxCoffee at TEDx Amsterdam at the teally amazing venue the Concert-Gebouw. I had help from my good friend Nick this day and we had a really good time. Several big and small roasters from the Netherlands joined hands together to present a variety of different coffees from Ethiopia, Kenya, Guatamala, Mexico and even Panama to the attendees. The reactions were beyond belief, everyone liked the idea of presenting a different coffee at every break betweens the sessions. Overall it was a great succes.
I really like to thank Gerben Hettinga from Synesso for inviting me over.
Filter Coffees:
Mexico la Retina, Stadsbranderij Noord
Ethiopia Knots Family, Head First Coffee
Kenya Gatomboya, Espressofabriek
Guatamala el Socorro, Single Estate Coffee
Colombia San Alberto, Het Koffielab
Ethiopia and Panama, Bocca Coffee
I also had the Yirgacheffe from Giraffe Coffee Roasters on Synesso, Mark did a really good thing there. Also the coffees from Lot Sixty One really impressed me.
Overall it was an awesome event, still a little bit shakey and hung over but I’ll live 😉
