Black & Bloom at TEDx Groningen

Black & Bloom was asked to serve quality coffee at the TEDx Groningen event on the 31st of October at the Stadsschouwburg in Groningen. We will be serving filter coffee in the two serres on each side of the building. We can not do this on our own, so we have some help from our friends. First we have Friso van der Mei from Smelnehus, Drachten, Jasper from Doppio Groningen and Bjorn Aerts from Dutch Barista Coffee, Maastricht. We will be serving coffeees from El Salvador, Ethiopia and Guatamala on the Hario V60 Drip Decanter at both stations. If you are not a coffee fan, then you can also have some amazing teas. The tea connaisseurs from Hotsoup who are our tea suppliers will be making some batch brews and they will perform gungfu style, complete with gaiwan to make traditional teas. Judging in Austrian Aeropress Championships

From 11-13 October I will be in Klagenfurt where I will attend and judge the very first Austrian Aeropress Championships. I have been invited by one of the organizers for judging the coffees. It will take place as part of a big coffee and gastronomical event in one of the biggest shoppingmalls in Karinthia and of course I’m very proud that I have been invited.
